Operation Manual for Waistpack ICE Water Cooling System

The Compcooler Waistpack Ice Cooling System combines a tubing-lined hoodie cooling T-shirt with a liquid cooling system housed in a detachable waistpack to form a self-contained and convenient thermal regulation device.

This tubing-lined Tee shirt is a highly engineered stretchable garment that weighs a mere 5KG (1.1 lbs.), dry weight. Pullover design with ¼ zip is easy to don and comfortable to wear against the body Stretchable material provides snug fit for maximum thermal transfer around the torso and head. The liquid cooling system is a detachable waistpack that weighs 1.5KG (3.3 lbs.), dry weight.  It contains a 1.5-liter removable water bladder, circulation pump, rechargeable battery, and On/Off switch.  When operating, it’s audible output is 45dBA.

Cooling energy is provided by freezing the water in the bladder.  This is easily accomplished by removing the bladder from the system using quick-connect fittings, and then placing the bladder in a freezer.  Once frozen, the bladder is easily re-attached to the system using the quick-connect fittings. With a charged battery pack, Users turn the switch on and select 3 levels water flow setting, the pump circulates cold water in a continuous loop between the bladder and vest.  With the included 1.5-liter bladder, Users can expect a cooling duration anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on ambient temperatures and workload.  Additional bladders and battery packs can be purchased for prolonged cooling.

Key Features

The 1.5-liter water/ice bladder, rechargeable battery and miniature pump within the waist make this a self-contained and portable cooling system. Small size and light weight, perfect for those hot jobs where freedom of movement is necessary, it was designed for dysautonomia patient (MS, Parkinson's, fibromyalgia etc. 

 

Circulates 36°F-68°F (2℃ – 20℃) cooled water to four zones on a tubing-lined liquid cooling vest. Reduce core body temperature and the incidence of thermal stress while increasing comfort, safety, focus and endurance.

 

The 1.5-liter water/ice bladder is easily detached with quick-connect fittings, filled with water and frozen.  This serves as the cold energy source, providing 1-2 hours of cooling performance. Slow water flow may save cooling energy and extend the cooling time.
