Operation Manual for Backpack ICE Water Cooling System

Operation Manual for Single Chamber Quick Release Bladder

Key Features:

The 3.0-liter water/ice bladder, rechargeable battery and miniature pump within the backpack to form a self-contained and portable cooling system. Perfect for those hot jobs where freedom of movement is necessary.

Circulates 36°F-68°F (2℃ – 20℃) cooled water to four zones on a tubing-lined liquid cooling vest. Reduce core body temperature and the incidence of thermal stress while increasing comfort, safety, focus and endurance.

Allows the user to select three flow rates for coolant circulation, giving the user more control over the system performance depending on current workload and ambient temperatures.

Breathable, zippered Hoodie Cooling T-shirt is lined with cool feeling fabric that is comfortable to wear against the skin. The garment is designed to stretch 5-10% for a snug fit, ensuring maximum thermal transfer.

The 3.0-liter water/ice bladder is easily detached with quick-connect fittings, filled with water and frozen. This serves as the cold energy source, providing 2-4 hours of cooling performance.

Additional bladders and batteries can be purchased and used for prolonged cooling periods. This water-based cooling system is both safe to use and environmentally friendly.

System Description

The Compcooler Backpack ICE Water Cooling System combines a tubing-lined hoodie cooling T-shirt  with a liquid cooling system housed in a backpack to form a self-contained and convenient thermal regulation device.  The garment is made with a breathable and stretchable material that weighs a mere 1.0KG (2.2 lbs.), dry weight. Available in sizes XS/S, M/L, L/2XL, 3XL/4XL, the garment cools four zones including the torso and head. It’s easy to don and comfortable to wear against the body. The liquid cooling system is contained in a backpack that weighs 1.5KG (3.3 lbs.), dry weight.  It includes a 3.0-liter removable water/ice bladder, miniature circulation pump, 7.4V 2200mAh rechargeable battery, and flow control switch panel. When operating, it’s audible output is 45dBA. Cooling energy is provided by removing the bladder from the system, filling it with water and placing it in a freezer. Once frozen, the bladder is easily re-attached to the system, and with a charged battery pack, Users turn the switch ‘On’ and the pump circulates cold water in a continuous loop between the bladder and vest. 3 settings for regulating coolant flow lets the User minimize or maximize their ice energy.  Low flow produces less cooling and conserves ice.  High flow produces more cooling for a shorter period. Depending on ambient temperatures and workload, Users can expect a cooling duration anywhere from 2 to 4 hours with a fully frozen bladder or 1 to 3 hours using ice cubes in the bladder.  The battery can last up to 10 hours.  Additional bladders and battery packs can be purchased for prolonged cooling.
