I purchased this adapter set to be used with the COMPCOOLER motorcycle cooling vest/cooling unit

I purchased this adapter set to be used with the COMPCOOLER motorcycle cooling vest/cooling unit. I use this vest in my airplane to keep cool in the summer and it allows me to fly during the hot Texas daytime temperatures.
The cables that came with the motorcycle vest/cooler unit didn't match the SAE connectors that I currently use for my battery charger/maintainer. I also have a larger whole cabin cooling unit that uses ICE, but it requires 10 lbs. of ICE and it is time consuming to set up. This cabin cooler also is powered by a power cable with SAE connectors.

This power adapter cable set was just what I wanted to install on the battery and run the SAE connectors inside the cabin, where I can use it for either battery charging, vest/cooling unit power, or power my larger cabin ICE cooling unit.
Unfortunately, when I received the COMPCOOLER Power Adapter set I found that I had a connector problem with the cables power socket which should have been 5525 (5.5X2.5) male to fit into the socket of my COMPCOOLERS vest cooling unit. The cable came with a 4017 (4.0X1.7) female socket. If you look closely at the photo on the web site you will see that the cable has an SAE connector on one end an a FEMALE socket on the other. I didn't notice that detail when I ordered.
I sent an email asking for help and the factory constructed a cable with the proper plug sizes and orientation. I had the correct power cord within 2 weeks.
I couldn't be more satisfied. The customer service is absolutely First Class.

Sizes are small

It seems to be a good product but it runs very small in size if you are a big guy like me its really snug.

Perfect replacements

One of my male connectors got cracked and was leaking ice cold water down my lower back and legs. Since I live in Florida I did not mind it much but tracking water i.e. mud in the house made my wife not too happy. Got these pretty quickly and fixed the problem.
