When operating, it’s audible output is 45dBA. Cooling energy is provided by freezing the water in the ice container. Power is derived from AC110-220V wall plug. An optional 7.4V rechargeable battery can also be purchased separately. To operate the system, connect the vest tubing to the ice chest using the quick-connect fittings. Set up the temp as need from 36°F to 88°F (2℃ – 30℃), turn the switch ‘On’ and the pump circulates cold water in a continuous loop between the ice chest and cooling pad. Users can expect a cooling duration anywhere from 3 to 5 hours depending on ambient temperatures and workload. Additional ice containers can be purchased for prolonged cooling. Ice cubes can also be used for prolonged cooling, although the cooling time will be lessened.
