Operation Manual for Backpack ICE Water Cooling System
Operation Manual for Single Chamber ICE Bladder
Stay cool, comfortable, and focused when riding on those hot summer days. Cooling energy comes from freezing the removable 5.0-liter ice bladder or ice cubes. Expect 5 to 7 hours (2 frozen 5.0 L Bladders) of cooling performance depending on ambient conditions and user workload.
The 5.0-liter water/ice bladder, rechargeable battery and miniature pump within the dual chambers backpack make this a self-contained and portable cooling system. Perfect for those hot jobs where freedom of movement is necessary and long cooling time is need.
Dual backpack circulation cooling unit connects the liquid cooling vest with tubing, turn switch “on” and pump circulates 36°F-68°F (2℃ – 20℃) cooled water in a continuous loop between the bladder and vest. Flow control pump unit allows the user to select three flow rates for coolant circulation, giving the user more control over the system performance. The 5.0-liter water/ice bladder is easily detached with quick-connect fittings, filled with water and frozen.
Breathable, zippered full body garment is lined with cool feeling fabric that is comfortable to wear against the skin. The garment is designed to stretch 5-10% for a snug fit, ensuring maximum thermal transfer.
Additional bladders and batteries can be purchased and used for prolonged cooling periods. This water-based cooling system is both safe to use and environmentally friendly.
System Description
Smart, safety-conscious motorcyclist’s wear protective clothing, like leather, and during the warmer months of the year that can get uncomfortably hot. That’s where Compcooler can help with its cooling system specifically designed for motorcyclists. The system combines a tubing-lined full body cooling garment with a liquid cooling system housed in a dual backpack to form a self-contained and convenient thermal regulation device. Available in sizes XS/S, M/L, L/2XL, 3XL/4XL, the vest is a highly engineered breathable mesh garment that weighs a mere 0.5KG (1.1 lbs.), dry weight. The liquid cooling system is contained in a backpack that weighs 1.8KG (4.0 lbs.), dry weight. It includes a 5.0-liter removable water/ice bladder, miniature circulation pump, 7.4V 2200mAh rechargeable battery, and flow control switch panel. When operating, it’s audible output is 45dBA. Cooling energy is provided by removing the bladder from the system, filling it with water and placing it in a freezer. Once frozen, the bladder is easily re-attached to the system, and with a charged battery pack, Users turn the switch ‘On’ and the pump circulates cold water in a continuous loop between the bladder and vest. 3 settings for regulating coolant flow lets the User minimize or maximize their ice energy. Low flow produces less cooling and conserves ice. High flow produces more cooling for a shorter period. Depending on ambient temperatures and workload, Users can expect a cooling duration anywhere from 5 to 7 hours with two fully frozen bladders or 3 to 5 hours using ice cubes in the bladder. The battery can last up to 10 hours. Additional bladders and battery packs can be purchased for prolonged cooling. Ice cubes can also be used for prolonged cooling, although the cooling time will be lessened.
