Slightly bulky for increased duration.

Only complaints I have with the product is that the quick connects from the pump to the ice bladder will sometimes be frozen due to re-freezing and won’t connect until properly thawed. Straps on backpack when first sizing for one body size is cumbersome but not a concern after sizing. Thermal cooling capacity lasts for about 3 hours using a fully frozen 5L bladder (11 lbs), which assumes that the bladder will turn from ice to room temperature water in a room slightly higher than room temperature. Backpack offers two sets of hoses to install two ice bladders instead of one to double duration of cooling at the cost of added weight, if you prefer to use/switch to one bladder at a time I’d suggest a smaller product. Purchase of extended hose is preferable if you want to continue cooling without consistently wearing said backpack in small spaces/sitting down as weight will be felt on tail bone/lower back when sedentary.

The bladder got a pin-hole leak out of nowhere

The bladder got a pin-hole leak out of nowhere pretty quick the first time I tried freezing as instructed on the bladder and you get more flow off 7v vs 5v (usb) which is to be expected

Absolute lifesaver in the Vegas heat

Absolute lifesaver in the Vegas heat, impossible to get anything done without it, easily cools for 2+ hours in extreme heat. Fits and designed well, price is right, Get it!

Worked decent

Worked decent. Zippered vest is much easier to put on and get off compared to t-shirt designs. The high neck has fabric between the tubing and your skin so it did not transfer the cool to neck as well as the rest of the vest when the fabric is dry. Wet the fabric with small amount of water will help transfer the cold. 1.5L reservoir lasted about an hour in 88 deg F temp at 95% humidity unloading equipment running pump on medium and high. The 1.5L reservoir did not leak like the 3L bag type reservoir.

This is an awesome cooling vest

This is an awesome cooling vest. It has full upper body coverage and it goes all the way down the lower back touching the waist. This is a big upgrade from the standard adjustable vest that came with my 6L chest cooler. I highly recommend it. I wasn't sure if my helmet would fit with the hoodie but it did, it was extremely effective although it will cool your head quite a bit. I recommend a valve and bypass so that I can turn on or off head cooling. The quality is also great and their customer support is excellent, I ordered the wrong size and they quickly shipped me a replacement in less than a week. They use Fedex and their deliveries take 7 days or less from China both times I ordered from them. What a great company, what a great product.
